INCI name: Behentrimonium Methosulfate
MONSA® BTMS-50 is a popular emulsifier made from plants. It can be found in skin care products including creams, lotions, and scrubs as well as hair conditioners.
Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a behenyl (C22) cationic quaternary ammonium salt conditioning emulsifier. As a C22 methyl sulfate quaternary ammonium salt, it is more hydrophobic in nature, and it is easier to deposit positive cationic terminals and lipids on the hair, thereby providing better conditioning performance. At the same time, the hydrophobicity and deposition behavior makes the product have excellent dry hair combability. MONSA® BTMS-50 as a basic emulsifier and conditioner has a wide range of applications in hair care and skin care.
