MONSA^®PEG 2000 is a polyethylene glycol product with an average molecular weight between 1800 and 2200. It is a white waxy solid with good water solubility and compatibility with a variety of polar solvents such as acetone, ethanol and chlorinated solvents.

Polyethylene Glycol PEG2000 is recommended for as a formulation aid and chemical intermediate for use in cosmetic formulations, water soluble lubricants, mould release agents, antistatic agents, humectants, plasticizers, carriers, wood treatment. It is commonly used as metal processing casting agent, metal drawing, stamping or forming lubricant and cutting fluid, grinding, cooling, lubricating polishing agent, welding agent, etc.; It is used as a lubricant in the paper industry, etc., and also as a hot melt adhesive to increase rapid rewetting capacity.
